Queen Anne Dispatch

My favorite part about shopping at Queen Anne Dispatch is chatting about fashion with Mercedes and playing with Chico. Last Friday on my weekly visit I took Chico for a little stroll and we had a mini photoshoot. He is the most adorable dog ever!!! Queen Anne Dispatch is located at 2212 Queen Anne Avenue right next door to How to Cook a Wolf. They have great apparel, accessories, novelty items and stationary and the staff is fabulous! Click here for more info.

Luly Yang Partners with Teatro ZinZanni

Earlier this month Teatro ZinZanni announced their artistic collaboration with Seattle couture designer Luly Yang, who will debut 13 original pieces for “Bottega ZinZanni: All Dressed Up with Some Place to Go”, which begins June 25th.

“I love to sculpt clothing around the organic shapes of the body and see it come alive in movement, creating the ideal balance between form and function,” says Luly. “Teatro ZinZanni is all about the joy of movement. I’m delighted to immerse my self and my staff in this special magical world.”

Luly Yang is known for her amazing couture gowns that grace the windows of her Seattle boutique in The Fairmont Hotel, she’s also been voted “Seattle’s Best Dress Designer” for five consecutive years by Seattle Bride Magazine and recently opened a second salon in Beijing in November 2008.

I was told there would be cake....

Leave it to my best friend Jessica to find the BEST cake shop in Seattle from the comfort of her own home in Post Falls, Idaho. Give her 5 minutes on the Internet and she can make miracles happen I swear! Hands down, if you're looking for a wedding or special occasion cake, check out Morfey's on Queen Anne. The cake is amazing (the best I've ever tasted!) and the service was impeccable. For my bridal shower at the Edgewater hotel in Sunday, Jessica picked out a white cake with raspberry filling, pink frosting and an inscription that read "Best Wishes Sydney & Jeff". It was absolutely adorable! I will post pictures ASAP. In the meantime, enjoy the Morfey's signature pink and white wedding cake above.
