Forget Evite, this is What's Next
If you’ve ever spent time trying to send out a stylish invite online you know that when it comes to fashion-worthy graphics- it’s slim picking out there. I’m really excited about Pingg, the style and design-focused invitation, ecard and event management company that just joined forces with world renowned fashion, society and nightlife photographer Patrick McMullan. They recently launched a collection of 30 fashion-themed online invitations and ecards that would make any fashionista want to RSVP with a “Yes”. If you’d rather have printed invites sent out via traditional mail, Pingg can do that too! They print, stamp and mail printed versions of your online invitations or ecards for $1.50 each, plus postage. Click here for all the features Pingg has to offer.
The fashion industry including Vanity Fair, Daily Candy, Nylon Magazine, and The New York Post are all raving about this new service and I am too! I want to have a party just so I can send out a stylish invite. Click here for more info and check out some of my favorite invites from Pingg below.

Deja Vu?
Am I the only one who noticed the resemblance between Britney Spears 2000 VMA's outfit and Heidi Montag's rendition at the 2009 Miss Universe pageant?

Then

Now
Who do you think wore it better? I think there's a clear winner and her name is Miss Britney Spears.

The Look for Less: Runway Rundown
Literally and figuratively speaking we’ve all had to tighten up our belts for fall. Let’s face it, it’s just a fact that fashionistas everywhere are having to find creative ways to rig their wardrobes for fall without spending excessive amounts of cash. But don’t worry because I just discovered one of the best ways you can look fabulous without breaking the bank and it’s called RunwayRundown.com. The daily fashion blog spots the hottest trends around the world and then finds the same look for less! You can search by season, designer, color, material or trend and when you’re ready to buy RunwayRundown.com takes you directly to the sites that have what you’re looking for.
“Times are tough, but you can still afford an up-to-date wardrobe, you just need to know where to look” says Kim Halzle, co-founder of runwayrundown.com. After years working her way through the West Coast fashion industry, Kim knows what's hot and what's not. But hot isn't cool when you can't bring your look to life. “On runwayrundown.com we show you how it’s possible to be fashionable without compromising your cash flow. “

I love that there are so many ways to sort and search the site. You can search looks by designer including Dior, Alexander Wang, Chanel, Balmain and Bottega Veneta, or search by Season (so far Spring, Fall and Resort 2009), sort by price (check out the under $100 section), browse by clothing type (dresses, skirts, belts), browse by style (strapless, mini dress, etc.), browse by color or even browse by retailers (including Shop Bop, Nordstrom, Revolve, Chick Downtown and more!). Click here to check out the site!

Fall 2009 Trend: The 80's

Most people didn’t believe that acid wash jeans and denim vests would come back in style but Spring 09 showed us otherwise and there’s no sign that 80’s trend will be dying any time soon.
So bring back the leggings, shoulder pads and ornate jewelry because you have one more season to PLAY!
For Fall 2009 designers like Louis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs showed printed and embellished tights, Zac Posen and Dolce & Gabbana showed Dynasty-inspired styles and DKNY, YSL, Max Mara, Viktor & Rolf, and Michael Kors all showed lots of leather. Here is a glimpse at some of my favorite 80’s inspired looks for Fall 09.
