Charity Fashion Show celebrates 10 years of Hope & Healing

Fashion for a cause will take center stage at the 10th Annual NW Hope & Healing show taking place on Thursday, May 3rd. Over 30 breast cancer survivors will walk the runway this year including Tracy Dart, the event's keynote speaker and breast cancer survivor superstar who has been working to raise money for the cause since 2008. Organizers have set their sights high and hope that this year's event will raise $100,000 for patients in need.
Event proceeds go directly to benefit the NW Hope & Healing Patient Assistance fund to offer financial assistance to women battling breast cancer in the Puget Sound region. Over the past nine year the annual NW Hope & Healing charity fashion show has raised over $500,000.

Featured boutiques in the fashion show include Sweetie, Carmilia's, Coastal Surf Boutique, West Seattle Runner, Howard & Marge, Canopy Blue, Butch Blum, Road Apparel, Chloe and Dillon, Pink Ginger, Kick It Boots & Stompwear, Blue Luna, Asher Goods, Tatters with hair and make-up by Ola Salon. “The fashion show is incredibly moving because the women on stage are a true symbol of hope,” says Shari Sewell, Executive Director of NWHH. Linda Sabee, proprietor of Carmilia's in West Seattle has been involved with the event since it’s inception and will once again return to help coordinate the fashion show for the 10th consecutive year.
