Sephora + Pantone

Seattle has a local connection with the new limited-edition Pantone Universe collection available now at Sephora and her name is Leatrice Eiseman. For years now the Bainbridge Island resident has served as the Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute and works to help pick the color trends for each season including the infamous color of the year. This year's color, Tangerine Tango (#17-1463) inspired a partnership with beauty giant Sephora for a special, limited-edition line of color cosmetics. These products make great gifts for color-loving friends and also serve as a color pick-me-up for a rainy spring day.

The "Color of the Year" collector's edition set is one of the best values in the line. It's a six-piece collection of products for lips, eyes and cheeks featuring the tangerine-inspired hue from Pantone. The set contains Tangerine Tango eyeliner, lipstick, lipgloss, blush, and an eyeshadow quad. $68

If you're make-up bag is already brimming with cosmetics then maybe the Pantone "Tangerine Tango" brush set is for you.
Brushes in the set include a powder brush, foundation brush, blush brush, eyeshadow brush, and crease/definition brush. The brush handles are made from clear acrylic and the entire set comes with a custom made, white acrylic stand to beautifully store and display the brushes when not in use. $68

The Sephora + Pantone Universe eyelash curler is perfect for spring! It'll add a major pop of color to your make-up bag and with it's own display stand it looks more like a work of art than a beauty tool. $18

I'm a gloss girl all the way! At any time I can be found with at least 4-5 lip glosses in my bag "just in case". The Sephora + Pantone Universe gloss set comes with four "Tangerine Tango" shades for every occasion including "Vivid" (Tangerine Tango), "Luminous" (Tangerine with gold shimmer), "Glaze" (Tangerine with gold shimmer), and "Opal" (Tangerine pink with gold shimmer). $20

And last but not least, probably the most wearable way for anyone to wear the Tangerine Tango trend is with the "Color of the Year" nail enamel set. Featuring four beautiful Tangerine Tango shades including cream, shimmer, glitter and matte this set is sure to brighten your day and make you smile whenever you look at your nails. $24

Being involved with the "Tango World"...there really is a story about the original orange color and how it was named after the tango in Europe, way back when things were hot with the tango! Are you familiar with it? Great bit of trivia. Look it up!!!! Enjoy.
