Fashion Calendar: Likelihood to host Art + Sole

Capitol Hill boutique Likelihood is hosting a pop-up shop to benefit Artist Trust on Monday, May 22nd from 6-8 p.m. The How Could You? event benefiting Artist Trust will feature custom sneakers and tote bags embroidered with portraits of iconic artists. Brooklyn artist Mia Weiner believes everything should be embroidered and she's made some pretty epic works of art including this cool Bernie Sanders pin, this Virgo embroidery, and this canvas clutch. Do you want to rock a pair of cool sneakers with a custom embroidery this summer? (Yes, you do.) Then you need to RSVP right now for this cool event.

Enjoy drinks, light bites, music, and more, all for a great cause. Artist Trust is a non-profit dedicated to helping Washington state artists thrive. Since 1986 they have invested over $10 million through funding, training, and providing resources to meet the changing needs of artists. This event is produced in collaboration with Today's Tix, an app for tickets at the best prices to theater and other live performances in Seattle. Starting on May 22nd and running through May 28 they will donate $5 of every ticket sold to the Artist Trust.

Join us for Fashion Evolution, a fundraiser for Seattle Sewn on June 6th at The Riveter on Capitol Hill to learn more about this new initiative and how you can get involved. The event will include a local shopping marketplace, raffle prizes, silent auction, and a program highlighting Seattle's history in apparel production and the vision for how we can bring a portion of it back while also creating jobs and stimulating the economy.
