FGI to host Fall/Winter Trend Presentation

Fashion Group International will be hosting it's semi-annual trend event featuring fall/winter fashion at the headquarters of Porch.com on Thursday, June 26th at 6pm. The video presentation begins at 6:30 and will be followed by a panel discussion featuring Seattle's top fashion editors including Ali Brownrigg of Seattle magazine, Lauren Foster of 425 magazine and Laura Cassidy of Seattle Met. Tickets are on sale now and start at $20. This event is a great opportunity to network with Seattle's best and brightest fashion industry professionals and learn more about how membership to FGI can help you connect to a global fashion community.

Seattle Met hosts first look of SCHAI by Suk Chai

Seattle Metropolitan magazine is hosting a special event this Friday, March 14th to showcase SCHAI, the debut collection of local designer Suk Chai. Seattle Met Fashion Editor Laura Cassidy will be on hand to introduce the designer and go over highlights of the fall/winter collection. Don't miss your chance to meet the designer and see the collection that is quickly becoming the new favorite of the fashion community.

Downtown Seattle Rocks the Runway

The 2nd annual Downtown Seattle Rocks the Runway will kick off on Wednesday, September 18th with a special fall fashion show featuring Nordstrom, Macy's, Barneys New York, Club Monaco, MOMO, sandylew, Mario's, emilie SLOAN and more. The event will benefit Junior League of Seattle and serve as the official kick off of 5-days of Downtown Seattle shopping, dining and savings. Seattle Met Fashion Editor Laura Cassidy will emcee the event and guests will enjoy up-close views of fall's best fashion and accessories. Over 40 looks will go down the runway giving guests plenty of fall fashion inspiration. Runway show sponsors include The Downtown Seattle Association's Metropolitan Improvement District, Northwest Cadillac Dealers, Roche Bobois, STAR 101.5, O Wines, Peroni and Gary Manuel.
