Fashion Calendar: Behind the Seams
Fashion and history come together at the Behind the Seams series at MOHAI. This month the event will focus on Seattle women in the 1940's and examine the ways that the Second World War affected clothing. Clara Berg, the museum's Costume and Textile Specialist, will lead intimate one-hour discussions that allow guests to view rarely-seen garments from the archives and understand the context of what was happening in the city when women wore them. Tickets are $25 for the general public and $10 for MOHAI members. If you love art, fashion, history, and culture, this is the perfect event for you!
