Global Retailing Conference to feature local speakers


The University of Arizona's Terry J. Lundgren Center for Retailing will host it's 18th annual Global Retailing Conference on April 10th and 11th in Tucson, Arizona. This year's scheduled speakers for the conference include Bobbi Brown, founder of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics, Walter Robb, co-CEO of Whole Foods, Jeanne Jackson, president of product and merchandising at Nike, Blake Irving, CEO of GoDaddy and two local favorites, Harvey Kanter, president and CEO of Blue Nile, and Nadia Shouraboura, founder and CEO of Hointer. The theme of the two-day conference is "Ignite the Customer Experience" and over 300 guests are expected to be in attendance. FGI Seattle launches Executive Fashion Series


 
Fashion Group International is pleased to announce the launch of the Executive Fashion Series, a curated collection of events designed to showcase Seattle's biggest retail/fashion executives and allow them to share their personal stories of success in an intimate group setting. The series kicks off this month with Harvey Kanter, CEO of Blue Nile.  Join in as Mr. Kanter speaks about the growing diamond and jewelry business, shares his experience as an executive of a public company and unveils his top tips for running a successful e-commerce company.
