Each year Seattleites put a stylish foot forward at the Nordstrom Designer Preview show, signalling the end of summer and the start of a delicious new season ahead. This year's show marked the 30th anniversary of the event and proceeds from ticket sales helped raise funds to support the Seattle Art Musem's upcoming exhibit 'Yves Saint Laurent: The Perfection of Style', which will debut on October 11th.
Covet-worthy fall trends included a focus on metallics, menswear, embellishments, a continuation of the streetwear trend and a much-needed return to classic romance. Textures also played a major role as seen in the featured pieces from Gucci, Saint Laurent, and Marchesa. Models wore dark lipsticks and ornate earrings to complete their fall fashion looks. Here's a peek at some of the most noteworthy looks of the evening.

The Nordstrom Designer Preview show also included champagne, signature cocktails, and boutique shopping. It was a wonderful evening filled with beautiful guests and endless fashion inspiration. I can't wait for next year's show.
