This year Fashion Group International is parterning with Fem City Seattle and The Bellevue Collection to produce a special runway show during Bellevue Fashion Week featuring local independent designers. A casting call went out to the Seattle design community earlier this month and the final six designers will be selected by a panel of judges including Jan Klier, Regional Director of Fashion Group International, Sarah Butler of The Bellevue Collection, and Laura Cassidy of Seattle Metropolitan magazine among others. The lucky designers will share the runway with Seattle-area NBC Fashion Star contestants Lisa Vian Hunter of Vian Hunter House of Fashion and Lizzie Parker.
