5 Beauty Buys under $5

Exploring new lip colors doesn't need to break the bank. If you're thinking about trying a new lip color this spring check out the assortment of 124 shades from NYX Cosmetics. At $4 per tube you can afford to experiment. For spring '13 I'm loving the Tangerine orange shade and also the Haute Melon, a pretty coral pink.

Never again suffer from mid-day shine. My make-up bag is always stocked with Clean & Clear Oil Absorbing sheets so that I can blot on-the-go and instantly refresh my make-up. A lot of beauty companies make similar sheets, but in my opinion these work the best and at under $5 for 50 sheets they are definitely the most affordable.

My natural lip color is basically a pale/clearish nude, so I'm always on the look out for a natural-looking lip liner than I can use to define my lips and serve as a base for my lipstick. After trying lip liners from most of the major make-up brands I finally landed on the Sephora Collection Nano lipliner in Royal Rose. I never leave home without it! The color is beautiful and long-wearing.

Who knew the secret to clear skin could be found in a drug store for under $5? After reading great reviews on Makeup Alley I decided to give Phisoderm PH gel cleanser at try and ended up loving it! Formulated with 2% salicylic acid this cleanser is gentle enough to use daily and helps keep acne prone skin at bay.

I've been using Cover Girl eyebrow pencils for years. My make-up bag is never without these babies! For $2.99 you get a 2 pack of pencils plus a mini pencil sharpener. The midnight brown shade is the perfect match for my dark hair!
