Seattle Chocolate Company was founded in 1991 and started with a small assortment of meltaway truffles and bars. In 2001, the Nisqually Earthquake destroyed the original factory in Seattle and the following year investor and local mom Jean Thompson took over as owner and CEO to help move the company forward in a new direction. Their chocolate bars and gift sets are perfect for the gift-giving season and I love seeing the whimsical artist collaborations on their packaging.
