Tory Burch Wins $164M

Although it's unlikely she'll ever see the money, designer Tory Burch has a lot to celebrate. Last month a judge ruled in her favor (to the tune of $164 million) to compensate her for damages in a case involving several online retailers who were found guilty of selling counterfeit Tory Burch handbags, footwear and accessories. The judge also ruled that the 232 websites selling knock-offs be disabled and have their domain names turned over to the designer. In addition, Tory Burch will also have the ability to disable any new websites the defendants create in the future without needing a new lawsuit. Hooray Tory!
