VOGUE Returns to Northwest

This year’s Fall Fashion Week 2010 at The Bellevue Collection will bring to life the pages of the country’s leading haute fashion authority, Vogue magazine, Aug. 24th-29th. The week will culminate with the second annual Front Row Fashion Show presented by Vogue and The Bellevue Collection on Saturday, August 28. This on-trend runway show was the highlight of last year’s sold out Fashion Week and is anticipated to make an even more dramatic statement this fall. In other words, get your ticket's early, you won't want to miss this!

Fashion Week will also include a special CFDA Exhibit, August 16 – 29. Through a partnership with the Council of Fashion Designers of America and Assouline Publishing, Vogue will present the American Fashion Collection as an exhibit at Bellevue Square. The fashion installation will showcase photography from the American Fashion Collection series of books.

“Vogue brought a critical national perspective to the Northwest last year with the Front Row Fashion event,” said Jennifer Leavitt, vice president/marketing, The Bellevue Collection. “We are thrilled that they will be returning for the runway show and bringing their expert fashion advice. The addition of the new CFDA Exhibit and book signing brings a new dimension of excitement to the week. We know Fashion Week will be the destination for fashion in the Northwest.”

The Front Row Fashion Show will benefit The Moyer Foundation. “The Moyer Foundation is a wonderful organization with a strong following,” said Leavitt. “We are honored to work with them this year. 100% of all of the ticket sales for Front Row Fashion will be donated to The Moyer Foundation and we hope that our partnership will lead to a strong donation to this worthy cause.”

• American Fashion Designers at Home VIP Preview Party- In partnership with Assouline and the CFDA- Vogue and The Bellevue Collection celebrate the newest addition to the CFDA /Assouline American Fashion series, American Fashion Designers at Home with Author Rima Suqi, and special guest designers. Private event. By invitation only.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 25

• Special Event Just for Petites, 6:30pm at Eileen Fisher. Enjoy personal wardrobing advice and receive double rewards points (day of event only). Refreshments will be served.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 26

• Fall Trendwatch - Mother, Daughter and Girlfriend Runway Show. Doors open at 11:30am at the Evergreen Ballroom, Hyatt Regency Bellevue. -Don’t miss this fall trend show designed just for all the fashion passionate girls in the family while enjoying small bites and cooling drinks. The timing is perfect to see what will be walking down the hallways at school or seen at the next soirée with fashion from The Collection. 100% of ticket price benefits The Boys and Girls Club of Bellevue. SATURDAY, AUGUST 28

• Front Row Fashion- Vogue brings the fall trends straight from the pages of the magazine to the runway offering insight on how to wear fashions available at The Bellevue Collection. The show will feature fashion from Ann Taylor, Aritzia, Banana Republic, Eileen Fisher, Hugo Boss Lacoste, Macy’s, Mercer, Nordstrom, Vince and White House Black Market. Hair will be by Obadiah Salon and make-up by Sephora. 100% of the ticket price benefits The Moyer Foundation. Must be 21 or over. Evergreen Ballroom, Hyatt Regency Bellevue.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 29

• Freestyle Theory presented by SEVEN the Salon and Zebraclub at Hyatt Regency Bellevue. Free your individuality and define your unique theory of style.
